What is a Home Trust "Secured Visa" Credit Card?

A Home Trust "Secured Visa Credit Card" is a real Visa Credit Card that is 'secured' by a cash deposit - and works JUST like a regular Visa Credit Card! You can use it to shop online and offline just like you would with a regular Visa, AND most importantly you can use it to build your credit history - our Home Trust secured Visa credit cards DO show up on credit bureaus unlike pretend-credit cards like pre-paid and debit credit cards! P.S. our Home Trust secured Visas here at Dominion Lending are very easy to get approval for!

What is a "No-Fee" Secured Visa Credit Card?

A No-Fee Secured Visa Credit Card is first off a 'secured Visa' that is secured by a cash deposit, and doesn't have any annual credit card fees! Even if you get a secondary/additional credit card on your same Home Trust secured Visa account - for your spouse or other family member - you will not be charged any annual credit card fees for that secured Visa either! Just remember: you must use your new Home Trust secured Visa at least once a year (to avoid extra credit card fees charged for the card remaining inactive). You can get our No-Fee secured Visa credit cards by Home Trust right here online: you can apply easily at the following link: No-Fee Secured Home Trust Visa Credit Card Application - and remember, any secured Visas anywhere require a cash deposit - here at Dominion Lending Centres we require one of the lowest cash deposits in Canada: only $500 - which is refundable if you ever cancel your paid-up secured Visa!

What is the advantage of the No-Fee Secured Visa offer, over the Low-Rate Secured Visa offer from Home Trust through Dominion Lending?

Both of our Home Trust Secured Visa Credit Card offers have their advantages - so it just depends on which one suits your financial needs more. As it's name states, the "No-Fee" Secured Visa Credit Card frees you from annual credit card fees eating at you wallet! You won't have ANY regular annual credit card fees with this Home Trust secured Visa - as long as you use it once a year. Easy peasy! And even if you add your spouse or other family member as a secondary-cardholder - they/you won't pay any fees for that either. Our Low-Rate Home Trust Secured Visa Credit Card is NOT 'fee-free.' It costs $59 a year for the main Low-Rate Visa Card, and $19 per additional card (for your secondary cardholders). But it comes with a competitive Canadian low interest-rate of 14.9% - lower than the 19.99% that this No-Fee secured Visa comes with. The lower-rate Visa is a good choice for you if you plan on carrying larger balances on your new secured Visa for long periods of time - because a low interest-rate will help keep your interest payments lower - but if you plan on keeping your balance paid off regularly - then you may want to stick with our No-Fee Secured Visa!

Do I need a cash deposit in the thousands to get a No-Fee Secured Visa Credit Card by Home Trust? Or do you have a lower cash deposit requirement?

Luckily you do NOT need a super high cash deposit to secure a No-Fee Secured Visa Credit Card by Home Trust here at Dominion Lending! We're proud to offer one of the lowest cash deposit requirements in Canada for 'easy approval' secured Visas - only $500 - and that $500 is refundable if you ever close down your paid-up Home Trust secured Visa! Some banks and credit card companies here in Canada DO require cash deposits from $1,000 and up - OR they require lower cash deposits like we do - but usually are not as 'easy approval' as we are. With us, you can have bad credit, just be finished bankruptcy and even still be in consumer proposal - and still get approved for our Home Trust No-Fee Secured Visa Credit Cards!
